Gavin and Lori would like to welcome you to 5 Grande Rue, our lovely home, peacefully located in the centre of Le Lude, France. We pride ourselves on friendly, informal service in elegantly appointed surroundings within this classic Empire style gentilhommières.

Our B&B has a large walled garden, perfect for relaxing in and soaking up the peace and tranquillity of our home in the centre of a typical French town. There is a shaded terrace for dining and enjoying the solitude within our private walled garden.

There is secure onsite parking where you charge your electric or hybrid car during your stay.

Local shops, bars and restaurants are all within easy walking distance and the fabulous Chateau du Lude with its manicured gardens along the banks of Le Loir and only two minutes along the road by foot.

The region of Pays de La Loire is well known for its beautiful countryside, diverse and colourful history, delightful villages, architectural monuments, wineries with many fine wines and, of course, numerous extraordinary chateaux.

Superb! Excellent location, hosts, rooms and food!

This was our 3rd stay on the return journey from our week in France. The location is fantastic, with a courtyard garden and parking, Chateau and town literally right there. Had 2 rooms and stayed for dinner, 3 courses with wine. The breakfast is superb. The hosts are really friendly and the rooms are done to a very high standard.

Overnight Stop on way to Dordogne

English owners very hospitable . We had our evening meal here complete with wine at a very reasonable price. The breakfast was also very comprehensive - could not ask for anything more. The room was clean and spacious with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in.
